Steven Welsh opened Artistic Auto Works in a small sub-leased building on Auburn Blvd. in 1980. He started his business as a one-man operation specializing in restoration work, primarily on 1955-57 Chevrolets.
Along with the quality restorations and custom paintwork, customers requested that their personal vehicles involved in accidents be repaired at his shop. So in the mid 80’s, he relocated his business to a larger facility on Trade Center Drive in Rancho Cordova expanding the business and adding employees.
The decision was made in the early 90’s to convert the shop into a full-fledged collision repair facility. Steve’s son, Bryan, joined the team in 1993 to assist him in running the business. Shortly thereafter, Artistic Auto Works officially became Artistic Collision Center, Inc.
As the business continued to grow, the need for a new larger facility to better serve it’s customers became a necessity. In 2009, Artistic Collision Center moved into its current location, a new 15,000 square foot state-of-the-art repair facility on Mercantile Drive. Artistic Collision Center has enjoyed nearly thirty years of continued success. The secret - exceptional customer service and quality collision repairs.
Our goal is to provide the highest quality collision repair and customer service to our clients. We will treat our customers as we wish to be treated, with honesty, integrity and professionalism.
